I'm Melissa, I love connecting with people and learning!
Currently, I'm a freelance Illustrator, Designer and Animator. I'm also a director at Code-Operative, a freelancers co-operative based in the North East of England.
The North East is home, where I received both of my degrees: Illustration and Design, at the University of Sunderland and a Masters Degree in Design at Northumbria University.
What I'm passionate about:
● Human Centered Design (Solving design problems using HCD as the core framework, whether that be CRMs, Data mapping tools, Mobile applications, Websites, 3D Environments, Educational Games..)
● Virtual Reality/3D in Medicine (Using VR for rehabilitation improving mental health, building 3D for surgeries, demonstrations etc..)
● Illustration (Drawing, sketching, painting, digital painting..)
● Gaming (Whether it's playing or designing them, and nothing can beat the original bubble bobble!)
Skills:
● Designing in most tools (Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch.. )
● Project Management (Running Sprints, Chairing Standups, Product Testing, User Testing Sessions..)
● 3D Building (Blender)
● Creating (Photoshop, Illustrator, Zbrush, Indesign, After Effects..)
